About Me

JESSI

Well, hello, good lookin’. And welcome to my blog, What The Efff! This place where dreams come true was started in March 2013 as a resolution to myself to become more dedicated to spending time doing the things I enjoy the most. Those things being all the little eff’s in my life: food, fun, family, friends, and furballs.

The past two years have been crazy-insane. I’ve lived in three different states, had three different jobs, acquired a husband, a puppy, and whole-lotta love, laughter, and great memories. I sure wish I’d done a better job documenting it all. While my life won’t be as chaotic, I am still thankful to have found a place to document this crazy journey I am on.

What the Efff? Well, if you know me AT ALL, you know I have the mouth of a sailor (though I promise to keep it clean…I have managed to find a filter!).

What the Efff? will definitely be a hodge-podge of things: an expression of who I am, who I want to be; along with where I’ve been and where I hope to be going. Since beginning with this blog biz-nass I think I’ve decided that most of the space here will be dedicated to food, furballs, and DIY (anyone got a fun ‘lil word I can use there that starts with an ‘F’!?).

So who is this F-loving lady?
I’m Jessi. I’ve found my love working in higher education and beginning in the fall I hope to begin the marathon towards the completion of my doctorate degree. I also thoroughly enjoy running, reading, cooking, baking, and DIY. WHEW. Needless to say, my husband has a hard time understanding why I can’t just sit down once and awhile.

COUPLE

Not so long ago I married the greatest, most unconditional-loving man, Craig. There are days I want to kick him in the shins and I’m sure he wants to pull my hair, but mostly we love the bee-jeezus out of each other. I’m pretty darn lucky to have found someone that can manage my emotional spicy-ness!

We recently relocated back to our home state of Wisconsin, the land of cheese and snow. We have two great rescue dogs: Myles the insanely hyper, crazy Aussie and Rudy, the “I eat everything” monster mutt. I’m one of “those” people – you know – the ones that treat their dogs like children. Don’t believe me? Just wait.

This is my first go at blogging. I’m a little self-conscious and unsure, but I’ll take the chance. What The Efff?, right!?
