What this should say is: My Attempt at Fitness. Because, let’s be real, it’s only that: an attempt. Something is better than nothing, though, right?
I’m getting back in the saddle, y’all. Training for my fourth half marathon with my best friend, Kim over at Racing Bananas. Whew. FOUR.
And here I am, telling the world, so you can help keep me accountable for training. I don’t want to let Kim down, but more importantly, I don’t want to let myself down. I’ve recently been given an opportunity to serve as a Sweat Pink Ambassador and I’m thrilled to be taking part of a community of inspiring women.

6/21/13: 1.8 miles – time? GPS stopped working.
6/29/13: 3.17 miles – 32:40
7/8/13: 6 miles – walked with Yappy Walks throughout the day
7/9/13: 8 miles – walked with Yappy Walks throughout the day
7/14/13: 3.1 miles – it was decent, I don’t recall the time.
7/22/13: 2 miles – it was rough. Humid and awful. Won’t share the time!
Thankfully, I haven’t been keeping track of all of my activity – otherwise I would feel super pathetic looking at this list! Tonight (8/6), I switched up the running routine to attend an hour-long hip hop class. It was fun to see the girls I recital-ed with and get a different kind of work out in. SCHWETTY.
